As aforementioned, Ireland really does have something available for everyone who wants to visit this spectacular country. There are plenty of tours, fun and amusement for everyone. Some of the activities that people enjoy in this country include sports, beaches, rock climbing, botanical gardens, museums and castles. This country also has a rich culture and heritage that can be seen throughout many of the cities in this country. It is important to look at each of these areas to understand them better. Dublin has come to be seen as the heart of Ireland for a variety of reasons. First of all, it is a mirror to Irish history as there are many historical monuments as well as priceless Georgian art and architecture located here. This includes the Custom House, the Gate Theater and the Garden of Remembrance parade. Plus there are many modern art galleries and museums worth visiting as well. When you move into the Irish Midlands you will find a lot of great nature to take pleasure in. This includes such places as the River Shanon and the Killygeen forests. Herein you will find a lot of great plant and animal life. Plus there are such activities as fishing, horseback riding and hiking. There is also a superb science center located in this area. In the region of Northern Ireland you will find the capital city of Belfast. Southern Belfast has beautiful gardens and the famous Ulster Museum. Then in the north you will find the Cave Hill Country Park and the Belfast zoo. The souther part of Ireland has a combination of offerings. County Mayo has lakes, cliffs and many remarkable historical sites for those who want to learn about the country. Then there is County Clarke, which offers fishing, boating, mind-boggling caves, dancing, music and theaters. There is also the Bunratty Folk Park located there for your amusement. Of course, there are some other great provinces that you may wish to check out. These include the Northwestern County. This area is subdivided into numerous counties, which are then further subdivided into even more counties. So, as you can see there really is something here for everyone. However, it is important to understand that Ireland is not just an elitist destination for the rich. There really are accommodations available for anyone on any budget. Therefore, you can really have your dream trip to Ireland, regardless of your budget. |
